“Magic follows where wildhorses roam”
Ximena Echeverria’s passion for art and wildlife photography began in her childhood in Ecuador, inspired by nature and outdoor adventures. A lifelong painter, she later embraced photography as a natural extension of her creativity, capturing the elegance of wildlife and natural landscapes through evocative visual storytelling.
With a Master’s degree in Education and over 30 years of experience, Ximena combines her educational background with her artistic vision to create meaningful work. Her photography has been exhibited widely across Arizona and recognized with awards, including Honorable Mentions from PX3 Photography and Black & White International Awards.
Represented by Arise Fine Art for selected works, Ximena is dedicated to projects exploring wildlife and their habitats and actively supports wild horse advocacy with wildhorse sanctuaries like Engler Canyon Ranch and the Serengeti Foundation. Through her art, she inspires a deeper connection to and protection of the natural world.

La pasión de Ximena Echeverria por el arte y la fotografía de vida silvestre comenzó en su infancia en Ecuador, inspirada por la naturaleza y las aventuras al aire libre. Pintora de toda la vida, más tarde abrazó la fotografía como una extensión natural de su creatividad, capturando la elegancia de la vida salvaje y los paisajes naturales a través de una narrativa visual evocadora.
Con una maestría en Educación y más de 30 años de experiencia, Ximena combina su formación educativa con su visión artística para crear obras significativas. Su fotografía ha sido ampliamente exhibida en Arizona y ha recibido reconocimientos, incluyendo menciones honoríficas en PX3 Photography y Black & White International Awards.
